Home Sweet Temporary Home | Sponsored Post (Apartments.com)

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of apartments.com for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

As we work through our current life issues,
I find that my usual coping mechanism is to want to wipe the slate clean and start over.

We've done that lately by going places we have not been before
and in doing that, I almost always find the little real estate papers
and dream about life in a new locale in a new home.

Before I owned a home,
I would always pick up the apartment version of the real estate papers
and pretend that I was going to move into these really posh apartments.

Sometimes, I would go on apartments.com.

Though I've always actually LIVED in apartments that were more
quirky and architecturally interesting and charming
(and, usually, not EVER listed in the papers or online),
I was always drawn to the shiny new, big complexes with fireplaces and the like.

Even though I own my home now,
I can't help but to look for that dream vacation home
or dream apartment in an awesome new place.

I guess it is true that the grass is always greener at your neighbor's house.
Except not here. Because our grass is ALWAYS greener than our next door neighbors.

A little Lime never hurt a yard.
Just. Saying.

I digress.

I got to dreaming and searching for my #perfectfit place to lay my head.

I went to apartments.com and let me tell you how totally easy it was to navigate.
I have not tried the mobile ap on my iPhone or iPad yet,
but my experience using the site from my mobile device was awesome.
I bet the ap is just all the better.

I've always noted to Robert that it seems like there are not really a lot of apartments here.
So I used the site to just enter my zip code with no narrowing parameters and
guess what popped up?

Just what I thought.

There is one set of apartments, one home for rent, a commercial property (surprise!)
and a set of townhomes that I didn't know about in the next community over.

Awesomeness.
Confirmed some things and learned some new things.

I was kind of shocked to see the commericial property pop up
BUT it was actually kind of awesome.  It is a cute place at a great price.

I could use it as an art studio if I was even that far along.

In any event.
If you are looking for a traditional apartment,
a brand new townhome style place,
a rental home
or, perhaps, a rental commercial property to grow your dreams in...

Then apartments.com is totally where you need to start your search.
And be sure to follow them on Twitter @aptscom.
